Most of our airline tickets, vacation packages, and service fees are non-refundable. All cancellations must be done over the phone only. We can accept refund requests only if the following conditions have been met: you have applied for a cancellation and refund with us and if the fare rules provide for cancellation and refunds; you are not a "no show" (most "no show" bookings are ineligible for any waiver from suppliers for refund processing); and we are able to secure waivers from suppliers to process this requested cancellation and refund. We are unable to provide a specific timeline for how long it may take for this requested refund to be processed. All refund requests are processed in a sequential format. Once you have provided our customer service agent with your cancellation request, we will then send you an email notification that your request has been received.
This notification does not automatically qualify you for a refund. This only provides you with an acknowledgment of your request and provides you with a tracking number. Upon receipt of your request, we will work with the suppliers to generate a waiver based on airline and other supplier rules and notify you of the supplier's decision. Our service fees associated with the original travel reservation or booking are not refundable. Please note that we are dependent on the suppliers for receiving the requested refunds. Once the refund has been approved by the supplier, it may take additional time for this to appear on your credit card statement. Generally, all suppliers will charge a penalty for a refund. This entire process may take 60–90 days from receipt of your request to receiving credit on your statement.
All refund fees are charged on a per-ticket, per-person basis. These fees will only be assessed if a refund has been authorized by the supplier or a waiver has been received and when the airline/supplier rules permit such refunds. If such a refund is not processed by the supplier, we will refund you our fees that may have been charged to you for such refund processing, but not our previously charged service fees for the original travel reservation or booking.
Most of the flight tickets, accommodations (hotels, etc.), rental cars (pre-paid), vacation packages, and the service fees levied on these products and services are non-refundable after 24 hours of making the booking. All refund requests go through a process after which it is determined (by the supplier) whether they’re eligible for a refund or not. Once you make your cancelation request, you will receive an email from us notifying that your cancelation and refund request has been received by us. Please be informed that receiving this notification does not imply that you’ll get a refund. This is a type of acknowledgement of your cancelation and refund request. We also send you a cancelation reference ID in this email. Using this cancelation reference ID, you’ll be able to track the status of your cancelation and refund request.
After we receive your cancelation and refund request, the cancelation and refund request will be forwarded to the supplier/s (airlines, hotels, etc.). The decision of whether you are eligible for a refund or not is taken by the supplier. Whatever decision they make will be final. We do not have any say in that. The service fees levied by us on the respective bookings are non-refundable.
After a refund gets approved by the supplier/s, it may take a few more days for the amount to be credited to your payment system (credit card/bank account). A cancelation and refund fee is usually charged by the supplier while providing a refund to a customer. The whole cancelation and refund process might take anywhere between 60–90 days. In addition to the suppliers’ cancelation and refund fee, we (E-TravelFare) may also charge a post-ticketing service fee wherever applicable. The cancelation and refund fees are levied on a per-passenger, per-ticket basis. This cancelation and refund fee will be levied in instances where a refund has been granted by the supplier/s.
